The oldest house still standing in Madison Heights dates back to 1890.  The original Madison Heights subdivision opened in 1906 and consisted of 63 lots.  Developed in the early 1900s, it was largely family homes for professional people.  Many of the first properties were subdivided to build homes for their children.

 

 

 

Madison Heights boundaries are Lake, El Molino and Los Robles on the east and south, Marengo Avenue to the west, and and California Blvd. to the north.
